Nipponbare / Koshihikari // Nipponbare Chromosome Segment Substitution Lines (CSSLs) 48 lines


This mapping population consists of 48 chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) developed from Nipponbare / Koshihikari F1 backcrossed with Nipponbare. The genotype of each line was determined using 108 DNA markers (104 SSRs and 4 SNPs) distributed along the 12 chromosomes.

'A' represents a homozygous allele for Nipponbare, 'B' for Koshihikari, and 'H' for a heterozygous allele.
The physical position of each marker in the genome is based on the IRGSP Build 4.0 pseudomolecules.


The Nipponbare cultivar used in the cross contains DNA markers which show polymorphism. Therefore, for some CSSLs the Nipponbare genotype is adjudged as A.
