Koshihikari / Kasalath Chromosome Segment Substitution Lines (CSSLs) 39 lines

This mapping population consists of 39 chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) developed from backcrosses of rice varieties Koshihikari X Kasalath. The genotype of each line was determined using 130 RFLP markers distributed along the 12 rice chromosomes. These CSSLs can be used as a permanent mapping population and can also be useful for QTL mapping of many traits. The following link provides the genotype data for each CSSL. 'A' represents a homozygous allele for Koshihikari, 'B' for Kasalath, and 'H' for a heterozygous allele.
